• your LightCell version

Privacy Policy

LightCell is a local app, available now on macOS and Windows; this policy covers both.

Data Collection

LightCell does not require an account.
LightCell does not collect personal data for advertising.
LightCell does not sell personal information.

Files and Document Access

LightCell opens and saves spreadsheet files you choose.
File access is limited to files and locations you explicitly select, consistent with your operating system's app sandbox permissions.

Network Use

LightCell is not designed to require network access for core spreadsheet editing.
If future versions add optional network-based features, this policy will be updated.

Analytics and Tracking

LightCell does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
If analytics or diagnostics are added in the future, this policy will be updated before release.

Purchases

The free version is the complete editor — every editing tool, and saving your work as .lcl, included at no cost. A one-time in-app purchase adds Excel export and write-back, CSV export, and printing.
Purchases are handled by the app store you downloaded from (the Mac App Store or Microsoft Store) — we do not receive or store your payment details.

Data Storage

Documents are stored where you save them.
App preferences and local state may be stored on your device as part of normal app operation.
